The flooded backyard
We made black and white cookies
... And drank hot chocolate
We took a nap... ahh, it was nice!
We watched Polar Express and had popcorn
Played in Derek & Daddy's fort
Walked to get the mail with Grandma when the rain died down
Fixed the ornaments on the tree while waiting for dad to get home (Genny, he LOVES his tool back pack!)
And then dad comes home and this is what happens... Starts off as an innocent walk through the mud
And ends up with a boot stuck in the mud (on the left next to his hand) and a foot buried in the mud
He came right in for a nice warm bath! What a fun rain day schedule, as we used to call it in elementary school.

Oh my! I had a LONG day with Noah too Kelly! We stayed inside all day, and it was nice to be warm inside and watch the rain outside all day!!!

I am so glad he likes his tool backpack!! The mud pics are great. Such a boy thing, but Hannah would probably have loved the mud too!
Sounds like a really fun day, your little man is such a cutie pie, seriously and the mud pictures are the best, he is SUCH A BOY and I love it!!!
