easter bunny

although derek and jillian have had to lay low since their surgeries, we've still managed to have some fun the past week.


we've had such beautiful weather lately, it would be a waste not to spend time outside. so last monday i thought we should get out and see the easter bunny at fashion island. i called sara and asked if she would come along and help me.

it was fun, but a little chilly in newport... and of course i forgot the kids' sweaters. so i had to buy them new ones. there wasn't a big selection at children's place, but we got something to keep them warm. then an hour later the sun came out and it was in the upper 70's. it always works out that way.

i wasn't sure how james and jilly would feel about the easter bunny, but they loved him!  derek kept asking him why he doesn't talk.  which is funny.... i know bunnies don't talk, but shouldn't the easter bunny talk to the kids?
