derek's school hosted an easter egg hunt on saturday. the kids loved it! james and jilli were out there finding eggs with their brother.
there were four golden eggs, and james' found one of them. so he gave it to his older brother to turn in for the prize. derek really appreciated that!
later that day jason took derek to eat at miguels on the lake in dos lagos and they saw the new dreamworks movie, how to tame your dragon. they both really enjoyed it, although derek fell alseep through part of it.
on sunday i did my usual hike up skyline with my mom. then we went over to my in-laws house. it was so nice outside. the kids played and played. derek has a little motorcycle that we keep at his grandparents house... well, as you can see here, his little sis loves it just as much as he does!
jason's dad has a turkey that james loved! he was petting it as if it were a dog.

i love the spring weather. and we have rain in the forecast the rest of the week.

These pictures are sooo cute!! I love them! All your kids look like they are having a ball! Riley is having an Easter egg hunt today at preschool, we've been practicing. If there is a golden egg, I'm expecting her to find it, hahaha!!
Thanks for your comment on my blog. I've been starting to think my kids are the only ones that do this. If you go around blogland, everyone's kids just love each other, or at least that's what it looks like. I was getting depressed thinking mine were the only ones that don't like each other!! So thanks for your honesty! Should we start a club?
