Chidcare, Babysitter, Preschool...

Whatever you want to call where a 2 year old goes so mom can get a break.... that's where Derek went today. My mom found a GREAT childcare place in Corona. One of her yoga students does childcare for kids 3+, but recommended her friend who does it for the younger ones. So I took Derek for the first time today... and the verdict is in.... HE LOVES IT! This woman is great! She has a beautiful house that is so organized and she has a preschool curriculum. They have story time, painting, outside play, occasional movie time, puzzles and music time... the list goes on. She has a huge playroom with awesome toys and gymnastics stuff for the kids to play on. She is so sweet and so patient. I loved her from the moment I met with her yesterday. And after meeting with her for only 20 minutes, Derek was asking about Miss Laurie before we went there this morning. So the reason why he's going to childcare now is because he is SO attached to me and hates going anywhere without me. Not to mention how tired I am with this twin pregnancy and the lack of work I get done around the house with Derek home. So he's going to childcare 2 days a week for about 4-6 hours. Let me tell you how I loved my alone time today! I went to Target and then came home and did laundry. Not like that part was fun, but I can't believe how much laundry I can get done without Derek hanging around. He's going to go back all day tomorrow so I can prepare for our Mammoth trip on Thursday. Thank heavens for Bessent Family Childcare!

Derek's beautiful painting! =)

That is so adorable, and great that you found someone that you love so much! It is always hard leaving your kid with someone else hoping that they can take care of your baby the way that you can! Even if he is almost 2 1/2!
