A Taste of Spring

Who didn't love the weather today? I want warm weather. Spring is coming, I can taste it! Warm weather puts me in a good mood. Today delivered. 78 degrees. BEAUTIFUL.

The twins slept in until 7:15. What a wonderful start to a perfect Saturday.

We had homemade waffles. We were outside playing by 8:00 am.
I mopped the floor. (Kristy, I've been using Fabuloso ever since you blogged about it. I love it!)
Went hiking.
Made lunch, ate outside.
Played in the clubhouse.

Took Derek and hiked some more while the twins napped.

Greeting Aunt Sara on her run...

Finally added some decor to the bonus room.

Hey, it's a start!

Jason installed an exhaust fan in the downstairs guest bathroom. It has a window but it bothered my handyman hubby that there was no exhaust fan.

Mission accomplished.

A trip to Trader Joes with my sis, Derek, and friend Kimberlee.
A surprise visit from my BFF and her girls with Valentine cupcakes. How sweet!
Dinner was made.
More playing outside.
Bath time, then bed time for kiddos.
I hit the gym with mom and sis. Then we took a trip to the grocery store. I love the grocery store on a Saturday night... empty.

A really fun day!

P.S. Jason and I had a date last night. It's been months since we've been out together. It's not easy finding free help for 3 kids under 4. But my sister agreed to watch them since it's Valentine's and my birthday week! Lucky me. I wanted to get a picture of us... we had on some good lookin' outfits. But trying to rush out the door while my sister and dad tried to tame 3 whining children didn't allow for any picture taking moments.

Go see Valentine's Day... it's super cute!

I, for one, did NOT love the weather today. IT was 20 degrees with sever feet of snow on the ground. JEALOUS!

I'm glad you squeezed in a date with the husband.

I just love the weather too! We totally had the kinds in swim suits today and slip n slided!!!

That movie was so cute! Joe and I went on Friday night. I was SO irritated with the crowd though...seriously, there were SO many girls screaming and yelling at every scene. I think I used to be one of them. I was irritated nonetheless!

Yeah for working out...you are so motivating :)

Hi, I just saw your newest comment, and YES you can be my workout friend!!!

Although, I wish between our schedules, we had the options to do it every morning ya know? But we don't, so when can we do it? What do you want to do? Power walks? Jogs? Lift weights in that freakin aweseome gym that is right inside your garage? Yoga? Just say when... :)

I gave up sugar for 30 days. I started today, so wish me luck. :) I am sending Jake to work with every last chocolate and sweet in this house.

Hi Kelly!

Just wanted to let you know that I was not offended in any way by your comment on my blog. I thought it was funny, I seriously cracked up. My Mom made a comment too about the towels and I thought it was funny. Just don't want you to worry about anything silly. I mentioned it in the next post too bc I thought it was so funny. So overall, I saw it as funny, in case I haven't mentioned that yet ;)
