I Feel Lucky

I think I complain about my kids a lot. Sometimes I feel bad about it. But sometimes I don't. Having children is tough. Having twins is even harder. Sorry, but I'll never stop saying that. I'm sure you're all sick of hearing it. Well, too bad. Anyone out there who has multiples knows exactly what I mean. (By the way, if you have multiples and read my blog, say hello, tell me some stories, I'd love to hear from you).

Anyway, I'm pretty lucky. I have a family who helps me so much. And I thank them... SO MUCH!

My sister is going to be moving back to Corona for a few short months. She is on furlough from Alaska Airlines. Hopefully only until March. She still gets all her benefits though, including her flying benefits. Which is great for her, and my parents. So I'm sure she will still be up in Seattle a lot, but at least we'll get to see her more often.

AND the best part is... well, not the best, but a perk for me... is she is going to watch the kids so I get to meet Jason in Vegas this weekend! WOOHOO! I'm beyond excited. She is bringing backup along. You really have to with my kids... seriously. Her friend Ashley, who is also on furlough, is coming to help out.

Jason is driving to Vegas Thursday morning to attend a trade show. I'm going to fly up on Friday and meet my hubby for some fun. Then we'll drive home together on Saturday. Las Vegas is DEFINITELY one of my favorite cities to visit with my husband. We seem to go about twice a year, and always have the best time.

And no, I actually don't miss my kids terribly when we're gone. Yes, we talk about them constantly. But the time away is priceless and I love every minute of it!
