You Never Know What You're Gonna Get

I'm talking about our weather in Southern California.

Last week we had an entire week of rain. Then a beautiful weekend. And an even more beautiful Monday.

Grandma Maria came and picked up Derek early in the morning on Monday for me. What a wonderful surprise. He spent the day with her and came back in the afternoon in time for his doctor appointment. He got his flu shot and H1N1 vaccine. I hate shots. Poor guy was not happy with me. (More on the rest of his appointment regarding the growth on his foot, to come soon).

Back to our wonderful Monday weather...

These cars were put back outside. I let them inside last week since we couldn't be outside. James & Jillian love their cars! But sometimes they get a little confused on whose is whose.


Sara and I lounged in the sun in my backyard while James & Jillian played.


So as you see Sara's hair is red. She hates it! But she's the one who wanted it red so bad. She went back to get it fixed today. It's a deep, dark brown now. I LOVE it, and have been considering going dark as well.


So long to our beautiful weather. It's raining again.
