Woke up at 6:45. Got to sleep in a little.
Jillian had wet through her diaper. She is soaked and so are her sheets. Lovely.
James wakes up. Happy as can be. Wonderful!
Derek wakes up. Crabby.
Get everyone breakfast. Trying to get myself dressed and Derek dressed to go to school.
Decided I should get the babies dressed too, because I notice I just used the last diaper. REALLY? I never run out! I always have back-up. So after we drop Derek off, we run into Sam's Club.
Diapers, wipes... check.
Come home, play a little. Babies nap.
I get the whites out of the washer to find a red shirt of Jillian's in with them. Now one of my favorite white tee's is light pink.
Babies wake up. We play. I'm holding James as I trip over Jillian. She fell over and hit her head on the tile, as I tripped James got his head hit on the corner of the wall. Poor kids. Totally my fault.
Babies are happy now, I'm folding laundry and hear nothing. Quiet can never be good. James and Jilli think they're pretty sneaky. Baby powder AND butt cream ALL over the carpet. Carpet that was just cleaned last weekend. I scrubbed and scrubbed. It came out.
Then James is in tears. He's constipated. REALLY bad. My kids have never been this constipated. I call my friend whose a pediatric nurse. I'm told I need to stick a finger up his you know what and help him out a little. And go get prune juice right away.
Load the babies in the car, pick up Derek from school. Stop by the grocery store. Load the 3 kids in the giant shopping cart with the car front. Boys in front driving, Jilli in the front basket by me. We get the prune juice. All THIS work for a bottle of prune juice!
Loading James in his car seat. Tell Derek to watch Jilli. Look to the side of me as the cart tips over onto Derek with Jilli still strapped in. Oh my gosh! People are around and no one, NO ONE came to help me. Lifted the cart off a screaming child as I unstrap another screaming child. No cuts, no blood, and no bruises. They're OK. But really, no one could help me? I would have ran over if I saw this happen to another mom.
Back at home, playing in the backyard. I had already picked up all of Bella's messes. I run over to James who is trying to climb up the ladder to the playhouse. Step in a fresh mess of Bella's. I was barefoot. Disgusting.
Run over to the hose to realize I didn't put Bella's water bowl up. Jillian had dumped it all over her.
Nap time. Yes!
Mom comes over to stay with twins. I take Derek to see the orthopedic surgeon. Puzzled about the growth on his foot. Needs an MRI, but whatever it is HAS to come out soon. Another surgery for another child of mine.
It's 9:00 pm. All the kids are in bed. What a pleasant day. What else could go wrong?

wow...you are a TROOPER!!!
All in the day of a mama, huh?
By the way, you can use a q-tip to help him out instead of using your finger...thats what i do for my kiddos!!
Hope tomorrow is a better day!
Oh Kelly....I am sorry you had a rotten day! I would have come to your aid if I was in that parking lot. Glad no one got hurt!!! Sleep tight.
Oh my...it's amazing all the trouble that can be squeezed into a day before nap time even hits.
Here's hoping today is better.
Good luck.
Oh Kelly... you are amazing!
OH MY GOODNESS KELLY! I too would have been right there for you when your cart tipped. What you do every day is nothing less than AMaZiNG!
Kelly you should write a book (in your spare time of course) You alwasy make me laugh.
People are rude, and they get ruder everyday. I would have helped you. I remember when Kristi was pregnant trying to lift one of those big pallets of water onto her shopping cart and no one ever helped her. They go out of their way to not look so they dont have to help.
You are doing such a great job. I know it's hard but those kids always have such great smiles. Hang in there.
What a day! We all have them, you're not alone! Hope today is better :)
I'm tired just reading this. I can't believe how much happened BEFORE nap time. You are a wonder woman!
Ah, that hurts I'm sorry.
Sounds like a busy busy day. You are amazing!
What is wrong with people? I would have ran over and helped you if I saw that happen. Sorry you had such a bad day. I think the point in your day where I would have given up is when you stepped in the poo, barefoot. Done. I hope you are having a much better day today!!
Oh I am so sorry about that bad day! I do not know why but I just now saw this post, so I am also sorry that I am commenting on it so late!!
What an awful day. I can't believe no one helped you in the grocery store either! That is just so much work to get all three kids there, just for some prune juice. You poor thing! You should have called me and I could have brought you some juice.
DO NOT be afraid to ASK for help somtetimes. I'd be more than happy to do something if you need it!
O my goodness are you kidding me? WHAT A DAY!!! That sounds CRAZY and I am so sorry that nobody came over to help, what has this world come to?
Makes me wonder if I can handle more then one child :)
