As Jason, Derek and I were coming home from breakfast this morning (one of my very few outings since being on bed rest), we saw this little chihuahua running down my parents street. He came right up to me and I noticed he didn't have a collar on... Dang it! So I brought him inside and gave him some water. Jason, who hates little dogs, told me to get that dirty rat out of the house. So I put him in the front yard and he wouldn't leave. My mom pulled in the driveway and when she opened her door the dog jumped on her lap. So she brought him in and gave him a bath. This is the woman who used to despise animals! She once took my favorite dog, Lucky, to the pound because she said we weren't taking care of her. I cried for weeks and weeks. Anyway, I made some signs that we posted around the neighborhood and hopefully someone is looking for him. We did have one call from a lady who thought it may be her neighbors dog, but she came over and didn't recognize him. We know he's not a stray because he constantly wants to be held and he's really used to people, like he's been very loved. We're not keeping another dog, so if no one calls for him within the next few days, the poor little guy will be off to the pound.

I don't know, I could just see you guys falling in love and keeping it to add to your litter!!! You have like 5 dog's now, what is one more right???
I totally don't remember you being such an animal lover. I hope you guys find it's owner. That's a much more promising outcome than the pound.
I was cracking up about what Jason said about that rat! Glad his owners were happy to have found him!
