What's In a Name?

By this time in my pregnancy with Derek, we already had his name picked out and loved it. These poor twins are still nameless. Jason and I talk about names almost every night in bed and just can't come up with anything we both agree on. I didn't think it was going to be so hard to name two babies, but it is getting ridiculous! Jason likes nothing I come up with, and vice versa. I really like the name Brooklyn for a girl, but he can't seem to connect with it. However, we both like the names Kayla, Kaylen, Jillian, & Julianne... but we just can't decide on one until we come up with some names for the boy as well. So far we have nothing for this little baby boy. If you have any suggestions for boy names that sound good with the girl names I listed, and sound good with our last name, please feel free to give us some ideas!

names names names... let's see...

Jillian and James?
Julianne and James?
Jilllian and Josh or John or Jacob?
Jeremy?

If the girl's name starts with a J or a K do you want the boys name to start with the same letter?

Kayla and Kameron?
Kaylen and Kevin?
Kaylen/Kayla and Kalob? or Kaleb?or
Kaylen and Kayleb? I think that's really cute...

I'll keep thinking. Sorry you are having no luck with houses or names. HANG IN THERE!! If you birth them, the names will come. =) (Like if you build it, get it?)

OH I Hear you! My kids didn't have names until they were born. Reid was the worst. We debated between Gavin and Reid until I left the hospital. And Grayden didn't even have any names in the running until my doctor scheduled me to be induced the following week.

I've always loved the name Garrett, but Spencer always veto's that one. YOu can have it. But it doesn't really work with Derek. They're way too similar.

I can't imagine having to come up with two at once. Spencer and I have a hard enough time agreeing on one. If I come up with anything great, I'll let you know. But naming a kid is so personal. It would be hard for me to come up with something you'd like.

Genny- I love Jacob, but HELLO, that's your husbands name. Maybe he would be honored if we named the boy Jacob? lol

names are hard.

For J's in know Jack has gotten popular, but it's cute, Jax, Jet.

For K's Kash, Kade, Kaden

These were all names that I liked and my husband vetoed.

And I love, love, love Brooklyn, that was one of my top girls names and Danny wasn't feeling it either.

Good luck!!!

Omigosh, if Baby Paino was a girl he was going to be Brooke or Brooklyn! I love that name too...but I know what you are going through with it being so difficult! The second we knew Sammy was a girl we walked out of the ultrasound saying, "its Samantha"...but now...UGGGG! I think we agreed on Travis John or Joseph John...but it's so hard! I wish I could help but I can't even help us out! See you tonight!

I did not realize how popular the name Brooklyn has gotten! Two of my clients due when I am, are naming their girls Brooklyn, and so is Rebecca Leonti, and a girl I work with too! I think it suprises me cause the only one I know is our age and she isn't very nice. You know how you get stuck associating a name like that.

But if you went with that I would like your Brooklyn! =)

I'll try to think of some names for you Kelly, but we had such a hard time picking one for Madison. I think picking a name for someone is one of the hardest things to do.

Everyone always wants the names to sound familiar when they are for twins, but it might be fun to not do that. Jayden is another boys name (check spelling) to go with the J names Genn has up there. Good luck!! I'll be thinking of names!!

Here are some names that one of us loves but the other has vetoed (or they rhyme with our last name)... so we'll never use them :
