Our Rodeo Weekend

We had a nice weekend. Jason had to work Friday and Saturday again... blah! But he was home around 4:00 on Saturday. My dad told us that the rodeo was in town and we knew Derek would LOVE it. So my parents watched Jillian and Jason's parents watched James, so we could take Derek to see some bull riders.

Of course he had to wear his cowboy getup... he loves it and thought he was pretty cool when he saw all the real cowboys wearing the same thing.


Walking into the rodeo... I think he would have been perfectly content just seeing these horses.



There was also a reindeer, very random. I should have snapped a picture of it.

I didn't get any pictures of the rodeo itself, they turned out too dark. But we saw some kids about Derek's age riding sheep... that was SO cute. Now he wants to do that, of course. We saw bucking broncos and clowns, and of course the bull riders. That was the best part. One guy was GOOD... 8.7 seconds, I think.

Sunday morning I gathered up the babies from the gramma's and we had a nice mellow afternoon in the pool. Just the 5 of us. The babies love the water... there would have been some great pictures but I didn't feel like getting out of the water to grab the camera.

I did get a picture of my boys eating a snack after swimming...


Then we went to my parents for a BBQ. No pictures again. After we ate I gave Maria and Jason a facial. My dad got left out because the babies were getting cranky. Soon dad, I promise! And my mom got left out too. But I don't feel too bad, shes knows how to use the microdermabrasion machine on herself, anyway.
