I Hate You, You Theives

I have quite a few pictures I want to post from the weekend... unfortunately none of the wedding in Vegas.  I forgot my camera!  I don't want to talk about how upset I still am about that.  I don't want to come across as a prude, or stuck up... but Jason and I looked GOOD that night.  I wanted my camera.

Anyway, I'll post this weekend.  I have no computer right now since Jason is taking mine to work, and using it for work when he gets home, as well.

His laptop was stolen from my car in our driveway in the middle of the day on Sunday.  And we were home... in the backyard.  Not only did they get his laptop and his camera from my car, they also got most of his tools from his truck.  Expensive tools.  Along with 2 DVD's we had rented, phone chargers, and I don't even know what else.  We're mad.  Not just mad, angry.  We feel violated.  We were home!  We heard nothing.

Stupid people.  Why did you have to steal from us?  We're good people who did nothing to you.

Can you tell we're angry?

It's ruined Jason's week.  I feel bad.  He doesn't deserve this.  All the hard work that he can't get back from his computer.

But he does get to leave early Friday morning for Las Vegas, again.  This time for one of his best friend's bachelor party.  Ya know how thrilled I am about it?  Yea, real happy.  I get to be home from Friday morning at 5:00 am until Sunday night... alone with the kiddos.  Fun.

I promise you pictures in my next post!

Kelly that is terrible!! Drew's friend Brian was here last night and told us that his brother's care was broken into and they took his wallet among other valuables this past weekend. Was your car unlocked???

Sooo sorry Kel!! Apparently this weekend was a great one for criminals to be stealing things...my father-in-laws tahoe was stolen on Saturday night. They were at the movies at Cajalco! It happened around 8 at night..they saw the security camera of them driving off in the tahoe. They stripped the car then parked it over by target. Pretty sick people out there!! I can't believe you guys were home and everything. Such a horrible feeling to have your privacy invaded like that. Hope your week gets better :( Poor Jason, maybe going back to Vegas will take his mind off it. And be careful off cajalco...I know you go there too!

Oh I know how you feel. When we were living with my Grandma Tim's truck got broken into and they stole his in dash tv, playstation, dvd, and cd players. (Wow my hubby sounds like a big kid), but his dash was custom made to have all of this on display. Then, on a later date, they broke into our CRV to steal DVD players that are like only $150 that you strap to the headrests, and they took all of my CDs and through them all over the street, and they broke into our Civic and stole the sound system. So, I feel your pain. It's such a violation. I cried both times. You work hard for the stuff that you have and then someone just comes and rips it from your grasp. Did you file a report? Sometimes it's just worth having a patrol car for a couple of weeks make random drive bys. Sorry this happened to you, it really sucks.

Hi Kelly,
That sucks big time. I had when someone just reaches in and takes what is yours. You work so hard to accumulate your property and they violate. Gets me so mad.
Sounds like our area may be a bit of a crime area lately. Scarey.

That is such a bummer!! I feel so bad for Jason and all his hours logged on to his laptop. Poor guy. I bet you won't leave anything in your car anymore!

It is such a violated feeling. I'm sorry.

(Thanks for the tip on Mrs. Fields. Worked like a charm.) :)

Such a HORRIBLE feeling! So violating! I am STILL dealing with issues from my purse being stolen out of Joe's truck right in front of our house too! Long story on why it was even in there, but SUCH an uncomfortable feeling!
Glad that you are all safe and okay though. Hope that the weekend went smooth...being a single momma SUCKS!
