I LOVE these slings that my friends Genny and Traci gave me. James and Jillian both love to be in them. But they love them so much that they fall asleep in them and don't want to be put down. When I try to take them out, they cry and cry. When I try to leave them in the sling and position it so it doesn't cover their face, they cry. I even had thoughts of hanging it over a chair or something.. don't worry, I didn't do it. But I finally was able to lay her down in it. She stayed asleep for over 2 hours.

That is so funny. Claire was the same way. I actually took the sling off a couple nights once she was asleep and laid it down on my bed (adjusting the face like you did), and Claire would keep sleeping so I could give Hannah a bath.
Enjoy the sling, because the sling days go by quick. I am afraid Claire is all done with it now. We've moved on to the Baby Bjorn.
Those slings seem like great inventions for babies!
