They went to the doctor yesterday for a re-check of their ears. He did their one year check-up just to get that out of the way. So that included shots. Yuck.
James weighs a whopping 25 pounds. Is 30 3/4" long and has a big ole head that is 48 centimeters around. He STILL has an ear infection in one ear, so is on antibiotics again.
Jillian weighs almost 22 pounds and is the same height as James, 30 3/4". Her head is smaller at 45 centimeters. Her ears are better, but her hemoglobin count was very low. So I am waiting on her blood test results to see what the next step is.
They both are trying so hard to walk. They can each take a few steps. I think it's only a matter of time... hopefully.
James loves saying mama, and Jill loves saying dadda.
They FIGHT! Over every toy, and everything else in sight. But they also really love each other and look out for one another. They play well with Derek... usually.
I just long for easier days... whenever they may come!

Man, time flies when it's someone else's twins. Just think...you've almost survived the first year.
They will come. It was fun to see you and Derek and James today.
I know easier days are on their way!! It just doesn't feel like that some days (alright most days). :)
I hope everything is ok with Jill and her hemoglobin count being low too.
Those two are so stinkin' cute! I'm sure your days will get better soon, I can't believe they are almost one!!
