Preschool Christmas Concert

Derek's school had a little Christmas program last Tuesday, that was a night to remember. What a hilarious night this was! He was one of only 2 kids that would not sing any of the songs, except We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

Walking out shaking his jingle bells...

Then they acted out the Nativity scene, and Derek was cast as a donkey. Well this donkey was tired of just sitting there. He eyed the microphone and made a dash for it, yelling "HELLLLLLOOOOO" as loud as he could. The audience busted up in laughter. What a leader my son is. Every other boy had to run up to the mic and say something as well. Then he grabbed the shepherds crook from another little boy and lifted it high in the air, as his teacher ran up to take it away gust before it was going to crash down on someone. A teacher had to stop the commotion by putting an end to the program. It's hilarious to watch preschoolers and kindergartners in a Christmas program. I already look forward to next years.

My little donkey...
Trying to get a family picture with 3 kids under the age of 4 is impossible... but memorable. (The twins are in their jammies because I knew they'd be out before we got home.)

**I have tried to upload the video 3 times, and it just won't work. Which is too bad, because it's hilarious!

I am dying to see the video. That is so funny. IT's funny that a kid who refuses to sing is a mic hog. PArker won't sing, but he's shy... you couldn't bribe him to say anything in the mic. I love it so much. Good story.
