Jason put up our lights this weekend. I was sick and tired of the clear icicle lights that every single house has, so we bought new lights this year. The multi color icicle one. They look fabulous. Thanks babe for dong such a good job hanging them.
*Note: Jason hates hanging lights! Especially on the second story of the house. He does it to make me happy. And I'm not easy to please with Christmas lights. They have to be hung tight, and straight. And he did just that. Yay!
I still have no idea how to use the different settings on my point & shoot camera... and I have no desire to learn... so here is the best picture I could get of the house tonight.
I copied my friend Genny's idea to hang the kids' stocking on the banister. There is no way the twins would leave them alone if they were hung on the mantle.
The tree is partially decorated. I still need a tree topper. I had bought a silver star, but then I came home to realize my ornaments don't have much silver in them, they have a lot of gold. So I need to make a few exchanges before the tree is finished.

My dad got some cute pictures of James and Jillian while we were out getting our tree with Derek.
It's almost midnight. I should get to bed as I know I will have some kiddos up at 6:00 am.

Those pics of your twins sharing a chair are adorable. They're getting big...pretty soon they won't fit side by side. Plus seeing them side by side, you would never guess they were twins. But they're both adorable.

I'm sorry you are still feeling crummy. I am SO SO SICK of people being sick!! My head and ears are still plugged up, Claire is worse, and SO incredibly whiney right now. I hate winter.

Your lights look sooo pretty! I too am bored with the regular icicle lights, we went with just plain white lights and I think it looks really pretty, I'm trying to find a way to make them twinkle! I love your colored icicles, so fun!
