"I think I'll hide this remote from mom"
"I know I can make it up to the top!"
James is always so determined
As of the beginning of last week (right at their 11 month mark)... these 2 walk everywhere!
But still have a lot of stumbles, especially on the grass
And Derek came home and decided he needed to shave and re-do his hair...
It was a good day.
BUT then....
I ran out of formula for the babies. Which was no surprise. I had planned on weening them off soon anyway. So I just thought I'd do it cold turkey.
BAD IDEA! Bad.
James decided to wake up at 12:30 am. We tried to let him cry himself back to sleep, but he was screaming loud. I couldn't sleep through it. And I was not about to have him wake up his brother and sister.
I tried to rock him.. Nada
I gave him regular milk... Nada. not having it at all.
I gave him chocolate milk. Good... I thought.
Five minutes after finishing it, screaming again and chocolate milk all over his crib.
I tried rocking him again... Nada.
It's now 2:15 am. What did I do?
I got in the freaking car and drove to my parents to get the formula I keep there.
Came home, made him a bottle, put him in his crib... HAPPY baby. Sleeping baby.
I was angry at this child.. ANGRY, I tell ya!
So needless to say, that morning I went to Sam's Club at 7:30 am and bought 2 more cans of formula. But that is it. I'm giving them half formula, half whole milk now... and it's going good. Derek was so much easier making the switch!
Twins.. arrrghhhh! It's tough.

Oh, making the switch can be tough. Hope it gets easier and easier and you are not buying formula anymore very soon. Good luck!
I am in the process of weaning Griffin also...he is use to getting breastmilk (the boob more so) before each nap. That was is the hard one to wean! He is not liking going down for naps right now BUT he is sleeping better through the night...good luck!
